 Thursday July 29th we will be at Break Time (beside Ten Pen Alley) at 6:00 pm for Easterns sign ups! Come out, have some dinner and get your Easterns entry in. 

Congratulations to Steven Mangiacapri for his win at the US Championship in California! Steven won 1st place in Men's Longboard. Also congratulations go to Brad Rose for his 2nd place finish in the Jr Men Longboard division. Both of these surfers did an awesome job representing the East Coast!

 Contest # 3 will be held at Hamlet Ave on Sunday May 23rd.Check the website for any updates. First heat is at 8am. Please plan to arrive early if you need to pay on the beach. We will need everyone to step up and get time in the judges seat. It takes effort by us all so please remember to get your judging time in at each contest. SEE YA SUNDAY!!  :-)

SNC has breakdown duties on Friday evening at MARSC. Everyone please plan to stay and help because with everyone pitching in it will only take us a few minutes. Also on Saturday the youth from all the Districts will be asked to help with breakdown. Please plan to stay and help. This will be all youth from all Districts so again with everyone's help it will only take a few minutes. 

Our next contest is May 23RD and our deadline is the Wed before the contest. You must send us an entry form to guarantee a spot. We put the contest together from entry forms first and then we try to be sure we have not forgotten anyone who may have called or emailed. Sometimes we forget. So, the only way to be sure you get in the contest is by sending us an entry form by the deadline. Email and phone call entries are very time consuming for us and if we happen to miss one then it makes us all feel bad. We want to have fun and enjoy the contest. Do us and yourself a favor and please send in your entry form. It's the right thing to do folks!

Contest fees are $20.00 for the first division and $10.00 for each additional division. Fees for 1A will be $15.00.

Everyone check your renewal date for your membership. We need eveyone's membership to be current through Jan 2010 so we can be assured of our slots for Regionals. In other words if your membership runs out before Jan 2010 please renew. You can mail it in or you can go to the ESA website and pay online with a credit card. If your membership doesn't expire until after Jan 2010 then you're okay.

One more time.......THANKS to all the sponsors we've had this year who have dontated to SNC. Also thanks to George Howard who sponsored one of our contests this year at County Line. Another thank you goes out to everyone, surfers and parents for pitching in and helping on the beach with set up and take down and packing the trailer. This is much appreciated and helps us all to get off the beach sooner.
